OMAHA (KPTM)- Thursday night we told you about the Wittland family in Council Bluffs. Their 18-month old daughter, Hannah is severely hearing impaired.
The family had wanted to put up a 'deaf child' sign on their city street, but were told by the city of Council Bluffs that no such signs were allowed.
Since the report first aired the Wittland's have now been told they will likely get a sign put up sometime in the next couple of months.
The city's public works department says it's double checking on the legality of the sign, but says it's confident something can be worked out. We will bring you the latest on Hnnah and her sign.
