Tyson Pearsall joined the KPTM FOX 42 News at Nine team as Chief Meteorologist in June of 2005.

Originally from Omaha, he lived in Arizona for 18 years, and spent 3 years in Lincoln.

Tyson graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999, and is a member of the National Weather Association. He has more than four years experience forecasting East and Southeast Nebraska weather.

When Tyson isn't forecasting the ever-changing midwestern weather, he likes to mountain bike, play golf and be outdoors. He adds, "What makes Omaha so great is the fact that we experience a taste of all four seasons. It's beautiful here!"

A life-long Husker fan (which drove his roommates at the U of Arizona crazy!), Tyson says "I am very excited to be at KPTM and I am so proud to say that I live in Omaha, this is a fantastic city that offers so much to the folks who live and visit here."
