In the dictionary next to the word "passion" there should be a picture of KPTM Sports Director JJ Davis. He has a passion for sports and sports broadcasting, with a career spanning 25 years. His love of sports goes back much farther.

Ever since he was a Little League middle linebacker, JJ was dreaming up big things. That dream has become a reality, covering sports in Baltimore, New York, Spokane, Wilmington, Billings, Scranton, Harrisonburg, Roanoke, and now, Omaha. JJ is proud that KPTM Fox 42's News at Nine covers more local sports than any other Omaha television station.

JJ and his wife Joan are the proud parents of three beautiful kids, Tristen, Brandon and Lexy. "I have it all," says JJ. "I have a wonderful family and a career that I love. All I needed was a place to call home, and I found it in Omaha."

JJ hit the KPTM airwaves in 2002 and is hoping to live happily ever after in Nebraska.
