It's an honor and a privilege to be covering the Cornhuskers and tell meaningful stories to Husker nation on a nightly basis.

Being born in Nebraska, I've always wanted the opportunity to report on the Big Red and am appreciatve of that chance here in Omaha at KPTM.

After graduating from UNL in 2005, I landed my first full-time gig at 6 News Lawrence in KU country. After the endless ribbing I had to endure after that nightmare-ish game in 2005, I came to respect Jayhawk football as well. But when the two teams play, I still root for Nebraska.

After two years down in Lawrence, I returned to Nebraska finding a job as Sports Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at KLKN in Lincoln.

The firing of Steve Pederson/Bill Callahan and the hiring of Bo Pelini were undoubtedly the biggest stories I've had the pleasure of covering.

I am a HUGE believer in LOCAL sports and I hope that the Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa community can contribute story ideas to help me tell the numerous fascinating stories that need to be told.
