Omaha (KPTM) - The woman who's pit bulls attacked a 75-year-old man is sentenced to one year of probation and a $2,200 fine.
Monday, 19-year-old Esmeralda Alvarado was sentenced for harboring a dangerous animal.
In March, police say Alvarado's two pit bulls attacked Hopeton Hewett, who was out on a walk.
He suffered a sprained back and bites on one arm.
Police shot and killed one of the two pit bulls after it charged a Nebraska Humane Society officer.
