OMAHA (KPTM)- Two crime scenes, one man is dead and another critically hurt. Now three men face murder charges, one of the suspects is former husker Thunder Collins.

Investigators found Timothy Thomas shot to death inside a house at 70th and Military Avenue. They say Marshall Turner was found at a motel across town with gun shot wounds. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The hospital won't release an update on him.

Police say it all happened because of a drug deal gone bad. Douglas County attorney, Don Kleine says, "You would refer it as a drug rip off, a transaction that didn't turn out to be a transaction simply a robbery."

Wednesday morning investigators arrested former husker running back Thunder Collins, Karnell Burton and are looking for Ahmad Johnson. All three are facing murder charges. Kleine says, "I'm always surprised sometimes when there are individuals that I just don't understand how they get involved with this kind of activity."

Witnesses say after four gun shots, they saw a white SUV with California plates run into a Pontiac Grand Am then speed off followed by a dark blue S.U.V. Susan Chinowth lives a few houses down says, "He looked upset, really angry and he took off." Susan says after recognizing Thunder Collins on TV Tuesday night, she realized thunder was the man in the blue S.U.V. Susan says, "That was the guy in the second car, he chased, he asked the guy on the corner which way did he go."

Chinowth says this is not the first time she's seen both the white S.U.V and Thunder Collins's car in the area. "I've always heard his name in the neighborhood, my nephews played basketball with him."

Don Kleine says he's been in contact with Ahmad Johnson's family and they know police are looking for him. All three have weapon charges against them. The County attorney says, both Collins and Johnson had guns. He says Burton did have a weapon but it wasn't a gun.
