A native Nebraskan, David J. Cripe was born in Beatrice in 1970. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1993, and in 1998 was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Creighton University. He was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association the same year and immediately began serving as an Assistant Public Defender for Douglas County, a post he held for two years. Mr. Cripe then moved to private practice with Sodoro, Daly & Sodoro, a firm specializing in insurance defense litigation and medical malpractice defense.
