A native Nebraskan, David J. Cripe was born in Beatrice in 1970. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1993, and in 1998 was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Creighton University. He was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association the same year and immediately began serving as an Assistant Public Defender for Douglas County, a post he held for two years. Mr. Cripe then moved to private practice with Sodoro, Daly & Sodoro, a firm specializing in insurance defense litigation and medical malpractice defense. His eight years there garnered him extensive experience representing clients in the insurance industry. Firsthand knowledge of the tactics large insurance companies employ with regard to personal injury cases makes Mr. Cripe an invaluable member of the Hauptman, O'Brien, Wolf & Lathrop team.
