Cacky Catlett - Main Anchor

Cacky Catlett grew up in Southern Indiana, just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. Her love for television news began at age 14 when she job-shadowed a Louisville anchor. After walking into a t.v. studio for the first time, she knew she wanted to make a career in news.

Cacky earned a B.A. degree in Journalism/Mass Communications from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. During college, she got her first hands-on news experience during internships at FOX 41 in Louisville and Indiana 9 in Clarksville, Indiana. At Samford, Cacky worked as a reporter/anchor for the student t.v. station. In 2005, she traveled to the Gulf Coast to interview families affected by Hurricane Katrina. As a senior, Cacky was honored with the 2006 Broadcast Student of the Year.

Upon graduation, she began working as a reporter/producer for Indiana 9 News in her hometown of Southern Indiana. While there, Cacky covered Kentucky Derby events, the Rick Pitino sex scandal and an ice storm that devastated parts of Indiana and Kentucky in 2009.

Cacky currently co-anchors the 9 p.m. newscast for FOX 42. She's thrilled to be serving the Omaha community with the most current news and information.

In her spare time, Cacky enjoys playing basketball and traveling. She greatly values her family and is the proud aunt to three boys. She's also an animal lover and has a two-year-old beagle named Avery.
