OMAHA (KPTM)- Former Governor of Arkansas and 2008 Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee was in town Tuesday.
Since his second place finish to John McCain in 2008, Huckabee has been busy.
He's written nine books, currently hosts a program on Fox News Channel and has a syndicated radio show.
In a difficult economic climate, Huckabee believes that the government is awarding too many breaks to both companies and individuals.
"Eventually, when you lose the sense of responsibility, you are no longer driven by the hunger to do well and improve. I would put it this way- when you penalize productivity and you subsidize irresponsibility, you end up destroying a culture. And that's what I believe we are doing," said Huckabee.
Huckabee said he doesn't regret not entering the 2012 Presidential race, but that he isn't ruling anything out for the future.
