UPDATE: A victim has been identified in a shooting in downtown Omaha Saturday morning.
Matthew Voss, 34, of Omaha was pronounced dead this afternoon. This is the sixth homicide of 2012.
Police are investigating a shooting near 16th and Harney. They were called to the scene at 3:28 Saturday morning. Police say the arriving officer heard multiple gunshots. They found two victims suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
"I heard a bunch of screaming and yelling and then I heard approximately 10 to 15 pop pop pops and looked out my window and saw a bunch of folks scattering," said Tony Dinaro, whose apartment looks down on the crime scene.
Police have two men in custody right now. Tillman Henderson was arrested for an illegal and a stolen gun and James Garret was arrested for accessory. Police won't say if either man was involved in the murder.
