OMAHA (KPTM)- A man has been found guilty in a crash that killed an Omaha teen two years ago.
Samuel Corbitt was convicted of Motor Vehicle Homicide Friday afternoon. He was originally charged with manslaughter.
Police said Corbitt and the victim he ran into, 18-year-old Amanda Meyers had both been drinking before the crash. It happened near 64th and Pacific in September 2010.
Corbitt's attorney argued that Meyers pulled out in front of Corbitt causing the crash.
Two others who were riding in the car with Meyers testified in court this week. They had different accounts of what happened.
Corbitt will be sentenced in November.
