BELLEVUE (KPTM)- The Air National Guard is headed to Offutt Air Force Base this weekend for the Defenders of Freedom Air Show.

The air team is known for their eye grabbing air performances and stunts.

At times, planes are upside-down at thousands of feet in the air, just 10 feet from other planes, with 10- G's of force against their bodies.

Lt. Col. John Klatt, a pilot with the Air National Guard says it's nothing short of a rush. He became fascinated with planes at a young age at an air show. " I looked up at the skies and was enamored with airplanes," Klatt explained.

Klatt will be taking the skies this weekend along with many other stunt pilots.

The air show run Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5 each day.

Admission is free, Backpacks, coolers, and pets will not be allowed.
