BLAIR, NE (KPTM) – Two are dead after a Wednesday afternoon accident near Blair, NE on US Highway 133.
Washington County Sheriff's Captain Kevin Willis told Fox 42 a jeep headed towards Blair crossed over the medium just before 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
The jeep then hit a red truck headed Southbound towards Omaha. The two cars hit head on.
Both drivers died at the scene Wednesday.
The Washington County Sheriff's department won't be releasing names of the drivers until tomorrow but did say they were an adult man and woman.
Traffic was rerouted Wednesday afternoon for about six hours as investigators were on scene. The sheriff's department is still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
