BELLEVUE (KPTM)- A ceremony in Bellevue honored one of the saddest and strongest days our country has faced.
On a day that's about remembering 9/11 and uniting Americans all over, 40 new citizens got to say the pledge allegiance for the first time.
The former immigrants were sworn in as U.S. citizens during a naturalization ceremony.
The Patriot Guard Riders also participated in the ceremony which honored fallen heroes at American Heroes Park.
The ceremony honored the men and women and their families who have fought for their country as well as the lives lost on September 11th.
The Bennington Fire Department also had World Trade Center beams on display.
