DES MOINES (KPTM)- Officials
with the Iowa Lottery said someone purchased a $202.1 million jackpot-winning
ticket.
It was sold at a Casey's store in Bondurant, Iowa near Des Moines.
The lucky ticket was the only ticket nationwide to match all six numbers in
Wednesday's Powerball drawing. Another ticket sold at a different Casey's
location in Iowa came close.
That ticket holder matched the first five numbers
but missed the Powerball. They won a $1 million prize. That winning ticket was
purchased in Williamsburg near Iowa City.
Whoever has the winning jackpot ticket will become Iowa's second biggest
lottery prize winner ever. They will be the second Powerball jackpot winner in
Iowa this year.
