LINCOLN (KPTM)- A Lincoln woman accused of staging a hate crime
will go to trial.
Charlie Rogers was arrested last month, weeks after calling police to tell them
three masked men tied her up, carved anti-gay slurs into her skin and tried to
set her home on fire.
Police said the forensic evidence and her story didn't add up.
Rogers is charged with giving false information to police. In court Thursday her
attorney said that she is in good spirits. Rogers will go to trial November 9th.
