Police Investigate Two Shootings, Multiple Shots Fired Calls

OMAHA (KPTM) - Omaha police are investigating a pair of shootings and multiple shots fired calls that happened in a square mile area of north Omaha Monday afternoon.

Police were called to 43rd and Browne Street just before 1:30pm. One man was shot in the leg and driven to the hospital. Police say that man was in stable condition.

Police got two calls of shots fired at 4410 Fontenelle Boulevard several minutes after the victim of the first shooting was dropped off. The shotspotter detected shots at 4302 North 39th Street a few minutes later.

At about 2:15, a report of a second shooting victim was called in near 39th and Ames. Police say a teenage boy walked into a business at 39th and Ames. He was shot in the back and went to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say they do not know if any of the shootings are related.
