OMAHA (KPTM) - Omaha police are investigating two separate overnight shootings.
The first happened Saturday night at 9:40 near 42nd and Binney Street. Police officers found a 50-year-old man shot. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
The second happened about an hour and a half later, about a mile away. Police say ShotSpotter picked up on shots being fired near 40th and Fowler just after midnight.
Officers found a 21-year-old woman who had been shot. Witnesses say someone in a red car driving by shot her.
She is expected to recover.
