UPDATE: Teen Killed in Overnight Shooting

UPDATE:

A teen was shot and taken to a hospital where she died Tuesday night.

The victim was identified as 16-year-old Eriana Carr. Carr went to Benson High School.

Police said the other victim, 20-year-old Nakia Johnson, is at the hospital in extremely critical condition.

She  was shot three times in her thigh.

Both were outside near 35th Street and Redick Avenue when they were shot.

At this time, police said they are not looking for a get-away vehicle.

OMAHA (KPTM) – Police say two victims were shot Tuesday night. They got a call around 8 p.m. about shots being fired near 35th Street and Redick Avenue.

Dispatchers said one of the victims was shot about three times.

Neighbors said they heard eight to 15 shots fired and believe one of the victims was outside a home when shot.

More details developing.
