Police have identified the victim as 18-year-old Tre'Veona Smith of Omaha.
OMAHA (KPTM) - An Omaha woman is the city's 38th homicide victim. Police say the 18-year-old was shot in a shooting at a North Omaha home just before 4am.
It happened near 42nd and Browne Street. The woman was taken to Creighton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available at this time.
