HarrodCASS COUNTY, Neb (KPTM)- A Louisville man was flown to an Omaha hospital in critical condition Monday night after being shot.
Cass County authorities said the 32-year-old Michael Green was shot in a bedroom on E. Second Street around 5pm.
They are searching for Steven Harrod who owns the home. They believe the 64-year-old may be hiding in Lincoln.
Harrod is described as a white male who is 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds. He is to be considered armed and dangerous and anyone having contact with him should call 911.
An affidavit filed in Cass County stated that Green and his girlfriend just moved back in to Harrod's home after being kicked out recently. Neighbors say Harrod may have been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Authorities believe he also may have been using drugs. They say drug paraphernalia was found in the home.
