Police: Man Charged with DUI After Crashing into Cars and House

OMAHA (KPTM)- An Omaha man faces several charges after police say he hit  at least two cars and a house Wednesday night.

Ludi Oleta-Acosta is charged with DUI, Leaving the Scene and a stop sign violation. They say he also didn't have an operator's license and was driving under suspension.

Police it all started near 13th and Court Wednesday night. Police said he was involved in a hit and run and then sped off. Police said he ran a stop sign and then crashed into a van near 11th and Martha. The force of the crash caused the car to hit a home in the area.

Police said Oleta-Acosta then hit a parked car nearby.

The driver of the car he's accused of hitting was taken to the hospital with possible life threatening injuries. Marvin Cruz-Lozano is being treated for a brain bleed and a skull fracture.

Police are investigating alcohol in the accident.
