BELLEVUE (KPTM) - Two people, including an eight-year-old boy, are dead after a fire ripped through their family mobile home Saturday.
Fire officials say the flames ignited shortly after 3:00 A.M. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but neighbors believe a space heater in the living room is to blame.
On Sunday, there was a feeling of emptiness throughout the entire neighborhood.
"I just hope the community gets together and has some sort of fundraiser for them," said close friend David Sheldon.
The Bellevue Fire Department tells Fox 42 more information about what happened will be made available following a thorough investigation by the state Fire Marshal's Office.
Though authorities declined to name who exactly died in the fire, Sheldon identified Sandy and Devin Nielsen as the victims. We're also told three other people living inside the trailer were able to make it out alive.
