OMAHA (KPTM)- The jury is deliberating a verdict following the trial of a former Omaha middle School teacher accused on sexually abusing students.
The court heard closing arguments Thursday.
Prosecutors say Shad Knutson
inappropriately touched some of his former Nathan Hale students and sent
thousands of text messages. In some of them,
they say he asked the students for inappropriate pictures in exchange for
better grades.
Knutson denied the allegations. Four girls testified
against him in the two week trial.
He faces five charges including Sexually Assault of a Child, Child Abuse and Child Enticement.
