Omaha (KPTM) – There will be a public hearing Tuesday at the city council meeting discussing whether to allow tobacco retailers the use of temporary sales licenses to distribute at places other than their physical location.
The ordinance was requested by Councilman Chris Jerram. The deputy city attorney says in a letter to the city council that the idea comes from the owner of a cigar bar liquor license.
Official decisions will come in following meetings.
The hearing starts at 2 p.m.
