OMAHA (KPTM)- Police have arrested three teenagers in connection with several robberies on Omaha college campuses.
Two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old were booked for 10 counts each of
robbery. One of the suspects was also booked for theft by receiving over
$1500 for theft of the vehicle.
They were arrested Wednesday night during a foot chase near 47th and Jaynes.
Tuesday night police were called to areas near UNO, Creighton, Metro and College of St. Mary's. Police said that 2-4 men were involved in the robberies and showed a gun in some of them. There were about a dozen reports that were taken.
One victim who lives on the Creighton Campus told Fox 42 that he was mugged near 23rd and Chicago just after 9:30. Two others were also mugged at the same intersection. The student told Fox 42 that two to four men stole his laptop and phone.
