OMAHA-KPTM- It's the most wonderful time of the year...for setting an example. That's what Natalie Slieter, 11, of Papillion did.
"I decided to do this because I had enough toys and I thought kids from Toys for Tots who wouldn't get toys for Christmas could get some," said Slieter.
She asked 14 of her friends who were invited to her November 27th birthday party to bring a toy to be donated to Toys For Tots instead of getting her a birthday present.
More than 30 toys were donated.
"One brought six," said Slieter.
The kids came from her girl scout group and her school.
"I'm hoping the kids who need them will be happy, I want to make them really happy," said Slieter.
