BELLEVUE (KPTM) - A military veteran and his family are hoping police can catch two thieves who broke into their car and stole from them.

Before daybreak Monday morning near 25th Street and Highway 370, the burglars made off with items belonging to the family.

"Some sunglasses, an SD card and things like that," said "Todd", the veteran whose name FOX 42 News is withholding at the family's request.

Thanks to surveillance video captured from Todd's property, the Bellevue Police Department has at least something to go on the next time the thieves strike.  It shows them getting into the car and taking whatever catches their eye.

"To have people violate your property and steal from you is kind of an eye opener," said Todd.

The Air Force veteran spoke exclusively to FOX 42 News Tuesday and said some of his neighbors also had their cars broken into this week.

"I am surprised, with as cold as it was, that this happened, so I guess they (the thieves) must have been dedicated."

The type of dedication that leads Todd to believe the burglars will strike again.  The next time they do, he hopes they get caught.

Police tell FOX 42 News they don't have a concrete description of the suspects, but they do know the thieves were last seen riding in a bluish Dodge Intrepid.
